The barge

Comfort Bronze

In 2000 the barge La Mar was converted from a cargo ship into a modern and spacious passenger ship, especially for boat and bike tours in the Netherlands and Belgium. It was completely renovated during winter 2012/2013.

Cabins

Beds

• 10 twin cabins with two separate single beds of approx. 10 sq. meters
• 2 twin cabins with two split level beds of about 8 sq. meters. These twins can also be used as singles by folding up the split level bed

Restaurant

Breakfasts and dinners are served in the cozy dining room, located on the lower deck.

Bar and lounge area

On the upper deck you can sit in the salon with panoramic windows and enjoy a drink at the bar, equipped with wide screen TV.

Sundeck

On the spacious and partly covered sundeck you can enjoy sailing and spend relaxing moments. The bicycles are stored in a separate part of the sundeck.

Food and beverages

Onboard kitchen

Breakfasts, packed lunches and dinners are normally provided. The kitchen offers international cuisine.

Drinks are always extra and have to be paid separately. On board only cash payments (€) are accepted.

Bke and barge

A vacation along rivers and canals where you cycle during the day and stay overnight in the floating hotel that follows cyclists stage by stage.

The cabin will be yours for the whole week, so you don’t have to pack and unpack. And if one day you don’t feel like cycling…you can stay on board and enjoy the sailing!
