TRAVEL LIGHT AND EASY
Girolibero’s seven core values
We all know the Seven Samurai, the Seven Dwarfs, and the Seven Years in Tibet, but have you ever heard of the Seven of Girolibero? We have seven core values, born in our headquarters in Vicenza, more specifically in Via Conforto 7. Our manifesto is light and easy so you can keep it in your pocket at all times. You might want to hang it above your desk, on your fridge, or frame it. You’ll find our core values reflected in every single one of our trips, and we’re excited for you to get to know us better and discover what inspired the trip we’ve carefully put together for you.

Our manifesto
1. Amazement is just around the corner.
Our headquarters are located in Via Conforto 7, in Vicenza. On the outskirts of the city and protected by 1980’s apartment blocks, narrow streets, and sharp bends, you’ll find a large and unusual space. We can easily be reached from the historic center and by public transport, on foot or by bike. All who come to visit us have the same look of amazement on their faces that we had the first time we laid eyes on this building!
2. A traveler can be recognised from afar.
Though we are quite a big group and have many differences, we all have one thing in common: just like you, we’re all travelers. We have walked, cycled and flown all over the world, so organising trips is second nature to us.
3. There's something incredible everywhere.
Our enthusiastic and experienced tour leaders will guide you to the lesser known and most authentic places, but we don’t overlook or shy away from visiting the hotspots either. If they’re that well-known, there must be a reason why so many people are inspired to visit them, right?
4. One gem leads to another.
All of our tours are roundtrips, meaning they are the perfect getaway for the curious. If you believe that a road isn’t just a road, but it could double as a bike path with an ocean view, a narrow and crowded souk, a tree-lined boulevard, a cycle path along the river, quickly to be turned into a boat ride on the river, then you’re in the right place. Every morning is a new journey, where the expectations are unclear but our hopes are high, and where one discovery will seamlessly lead you to the next.
5. The details are the cake, not the icing.
Inside our office there’s those who find the best hotel deals and flights, those who set the timetables, those who deal with unexpected circumstances, those who run the website, and those who look after the bikes. Every inch and aspect of your route is plotted out carefully, so much so that we couldn’t even tell you how many routes we’ve tried before finding the right one! The beautiful thing is that all this research goes unnoticed, because in the end our itineraries just work.
6. When in doubt, choose kindness.
Listening to each other, saying “thank you” or “I don’t know” but always looking for answers, going out of our way to make you feel good, smiling… All part of the kindness and enthusiasm we bring to work, every single day.
7. Yes to yellow!
The yellow in our logo symbolizes lemons, feeling light and carefree, and sunlight. You’ll find many plants all throughout our office and even a lemon grove, floor-to-ceiling windows in every room, and standing desks. There is a white kitchen that functions as a hallway, and orange sofas to rest. If there’s anything missing, we’ll talk about it. Fancy a Zumba class, anyone?
